The value of music therapy in the treatment of trauma and injuries is undisputed. What's exciting is that there seems to be no limit to the goodness music therapy can provide. Yes, it's great for things like brain injuries--just ask Rep. Gabrielle Gifford of Arizona, the politician who was shot point-blank in the head last year--but music therapy is also turning out to be useful in the treatment of things like cystic fibrosis.
