Morgan Cameron Ross' New Video: Too Risque for Quebec
Morgan Cameron Ross (remember him from Birds of Wales?) had his new video pretty much banned from TV in Quebec because it's apparently too sexual. No more MusiMax of Musique Plus.
Too sexual for Quebec? Have these people never been to Club Supersexe?

Aaah Quebec!
I love my province, but sometimes...
It's just our french culture and background that makes us so laid back on sex and alcohol sometimes. Then again, we are incompass in a british/canadien culture where good manners are important. So we have both of both world and we sometimes just don't know where we actually stand in all this. This is a good example!
As we like to say here, French are too cocky and gets on our nerves, but english people are too stiff! What are we, well that's a good question!!! :D
p.-s. Please leave your Quebec bashing at the door if your about to respond. Thanks!
Quebec...a culture of religious conservatism combined with a liberal passion for the Arts. This will undoubtedly cause a see saw approach as the culture continues to evolve. Ban this...but danseuses nues at your beckon call. Fortunately we do not need anyone to tell us what we can and cannot see/listen too (Money for Nothing!?) as the power of the web and social media overcomes all.
Btw...great tune and video. Thanks for sharing.
Lots of things are censored from "TV" but this is the age of the Internet...so it isn't really banned at all in Quebec now is it?
At any rate, it's a music video. Art. Expression. Raw emotion. This isn't risque or offensive at all to me.
I don't know what this has to do with Quebec. MTV Canada and Much Music Canada wouldn't air this video anywhere either...
Censorship in T.V. is much different than the current reality of the online community.
^ You're right, it doesn't have anything to do with Quebec. The artist is obviously just trying to get publicity off the controversy of it being banned. Sad, really -if anything I'm offended that some lame nobody exploited government grant money to make a sex tape. I mean come on, if there was even a slight bit of artistic integrity, or relevance to the graphic sex it would be understandable...but this is just a porno disguised poorly as a music video. The song is pretty good -well the writing anyways, the guy's voice is kind of annoying and pitchy.
