Neil Young's Car Sets Itself on Fire. Lawsuit Begins

Like me, Neil Young is a gearhead. But instead of lusting after high-end production cars (Porches, Zondas, Lambos, Veyrons, Gumperts, Koenigseggs, McLarens, Ferraris, etc.), prefers something with more classic lines.
One of his favourite cars is a 1959 Lincoln Continental which he had converted from an eight-cylinder gas pig into a hybrid electric.
Pretty cool, except the car is suicidal.
Young's company, LincVolt LLC, is being sued by an insurance company. At issue is property damage when the car set itself on fire in 2010. Something went wrong with the charging system and the result was $428,000 damage to the warehouse where it was living as well as the building next door.
By the way, the car was rescued from the blaze and is now being rebuilt. Meanwhile, Neil has a long list of potential customers who want their classic cars given the hybrid treatment, too.
