Steel Panther Poster Banned in England. Band Is Thrilled.

Shades of Spinal Tap's Smell the Glove!

Steel Panther, the LA-based over-the-top-hair-metal-LIVES band, has run into trouble with the Advertising Standards Authority in the UK.

This poster, they say, is unsuitable for public display because it's demeaning to women and was overtly sexual.  There are also concerned that it might be displayed where children can sit it.

It has, therefore, been banned.

Needless to say, Steel Panther is shocked.  Shocked. And very, very happy.  Thanks for the publicity, mates!
