Steve Van Zandt Has a TV Hit in Norway

I miss The Sopranos, especially Little Steven in his role as Silvio Dante.  He, along with Uncle Jr's minder, Bobby, were my two favourite characters.

Stevie is still committed to Bruce Springsteen but he's also forging on with his acting career.

He stars in a new series called Lilyhammer, another mob story but with a comedic bent.  He plays Frank "The Fixer" Tagliano, a mafia rat on the run in rural Norway as part of an FBI witness protection plan.

The whole thing is being produced by Rubicon TV, a company based out of Norway.

When the show debuted in Norway, one in five people in the country stopped what they were doing and watched the show.

So when will we get to see it? Netflix has the rights in the US.  Let's hope it comes to Netflix Canada, too.
