Best Name Ever for a Canadian Girl Group: Modern Beaver

The inspiration for Kathleen Edwards' new all-female band, Modern Beaver. Maybe.Canadian singer Kathleen Edwards is at the centre of a new girl group named after Canada's national animal.  (What?  Were you thinking of something else?)

This is not a joke, either.  Kathleen made that very clear in a tweet. Joining her in the group is Hanna Georgeas and Julie Fader.  

No word on when the Beavers might release any new material.
