SOCAN's 5 Tastiest Tunes for Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend

I'm not entirely sure of this list, but SOCAN, Canada's performing rights society issued a list of "Canada's Tastiest Songs" just in time for the Thanksgiving long weekend.  From the press release:

"[T]hese five songs have achieved at least 100,000 domestic radio plays, demonstrating that Canada has a bountiful crop of world-class songwriters. Each song was chosen based on the number of plays it received and its relevance to Thanksgiving by its title or lyrics."

Really?  This is one of them.  Me, it gives me bulimia.

Thanks for the interest, Alan. We had fun coming up with our list, which considered all music genres and compositions that have achieved SOCAN Classic status. Just shows how rich and diverse Canada's songwriting history and talent are. And for that we're thankful.
