By This Time Next Week, Adele's "21" will Have Outsold Oasis' "Morning Glory" in the UK

This should come as zero suprise to everyone.

Worldwide sales of Adele's 21 is approaching 25 million, 777,340 of which have come at home in the UK just this year alone.  It's the second-biggest seller in Britain of the year, right behind Our Version of Events by Emeli Sande.

In the 100 weeks since its release, 21 has sold 4,549,686 copies in the UK, including another 15,225 in the past week.

(What's the Story) Morning Glory's UK count is 4,544,581.  Only 790 were sold last week.

That means in the next few days, 21 will push past Morning Glory to become the fourth highest-selling album in UK history.

Just in case you were wondering, the top three are (1) Queen's Greatest Hits; (2) Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band from the Bealtes; and (3) Abba's Gold:  Greatest Hits.

I don't count compilations. Beatles take number 1 spot, for me.
