Rejected James Bond Title Themes

I've been a fan of Bond films for as long as I can remember.  I've also been fascinated with the tradition of picking someone interesting to do a new theme for each movie.  There have been good ones ("Live and Let Die" by Wings remains the best followed by Shirley Bassey's "Diamonds Are Forever") and bad ones (Sheena Easton?  Really?)

But below these official selections is a list of rejected tracks which, frankly, I had no idea existed until I stumbled upon this list last night.

Johnny Cash was passed over for Thunderball?  Alice Cooper and The Man With the Golden Gun?  Pulp? Pet Shop Boys?  Blondie? Wow.
