1. He is good friends with Dave Grohl. They have a mutual admiration thing going on.
2. He loves Katy Perry. "She's just ear and eye candy."
3. He was proud to pose for a photo with Lana Del Rey after an awards show in Germany.
4. And most shocking of all, he's a huge admirer of Marilyn Manson.
"We had a great conversation and really connected," he nods.
Really? With the shock-rocker who collects Nazi memorabilia and has a foetus in a jar? "Yeah, well, I didn't know about that part. But he's pure theatre, and he's musical, too. I turned into a fan--I wrote him a gushy fan letter!"

Barry Manilow is great! Listen to "Weekend In New England" and forget for a second it's done by a kitschy 70s crooner. It's an amazing song.

Manilow is NOT friends with Marilyn Manson. Manilow mentions people like Manson and Britney spears and clay aiken and Justin Bieber because it gets his NAME in the press when he does.
