UK Campaign to On Hearing Protection Awareness

If you're hearing's not right, then you can't listen to music properly.  That's a fact.  The problem is that most people don't appreciate this until it's too late.

Hearing loss is a serious issue amongst members of the loud music generations.  So is tinnitus, a persistent ringing in the ears that will not go away.  (My mother has it; she can't fall asleep in a quiet room because the ringing keeps her awake.  He has to fall asleep to the radio or something else that masks those high-pitched frequencies.)

Artists like Pete Townshend, Gary Numan and countless others wish they had taken better care of their ears when they were young.

The Action on Hearling Loss campaign has just been launched in the UK.  Supporters will soon be handing out earplugs at gigs.  They also have a TV commercial.
