Where Did the Money Come to Turn a Pastor's Wife into a Pop Star?

I heard about two scandals when I was in Singapore back in May.  The first had to do with the client list of an underaged prostitute and the other with the deaths caused by a speeding Ferrari driven by a Chinese national.

The latest thing to send the island state vibrating is the news that a pastor has funnelled up to $62.5 million dollars in church funds towards his wife's music career.

Sun Ho (or Ho Yeow Sun, as she's known) has been trying to establish herself in China, Taiwan and a few overseas territories.  It's alleged that Paster Kong Hee skimmed this cash to buy Sun Ho's way onto a variety of Asian charts.  (Isn't payola is a sin?)
