Love "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?" Then Check Out "Year Zero"

First, this is NOT the NIN/Trent Reznor Year Zero project.  This is something completely different.

The story goes something like this:  an alien race discovers human music.  They get into it so much that they download pretty much everything.  Not being aware of our system of commerce, they don't realize that they're doing anything wrong.

But eventually, First Contact is made and the Earth's record industry discover that this new species has been ripping them off.

They sue, of course.  And they win.

The courts award the recording industry more money than the entire wealth of this space-faring species.

Then it gets weird.  Read more here.
