An Update on the Pussy Riot Situation

Pussy Riot is the Russian punk band that dared take on Vladimir Putin and his people.  Arrested for performing a protest song in front of a Moscow church in February, they've been in detention ever since.  Earlier this month, they went on a hunger strike.  

Now they've had their detention extended by another six months.  (Not very democratic, Vlad, innit?)

Meanwhile, support from inside the country as well as internationally continues to grow.  But they haven't a lot of support from the church as you'll see in this Al-Jazeera report.
