Looking for Some Cool CD or Record Shelving?

I was shocked when I got my IKEA catalogue last year.  No matter how hard I looked, I could not find any shelving for compact discs.

This was distressing.  As a purchaser of miles of this stuff, I could no longer expand my network of Benno storage.  Blerg.  (Is it different in the US?  Do I have to make an IKEA run south of the border?)

I'm okay for the time being, but I'm going to have to eventually rethink my CD shelving.  And, come to think of it, my vinyl shelving, too.  It's getting packed in pretty tight with what I've got right now.

I have found an contender, though.  These modular shelves seem to fit the bill--and they appeal to my Tetris fetish, too.

I've had two of these units for over five years and would recommend them. Prepac is in Delta B.C. and the price includes shipping.

I'd love to see your cd/vinyl collection, a tour video perhaps, or at least a few pictures. How big is the collection?

In the demo video, they didn't touch on how the dividers fit within the boxes. That guy had a few compartments that were used to house cd's but it didn't show how the divider was installed. Just wondering if it's and accessory option or if that was fabricated on his own and not part of the boxes. Cause that's a deal breaker for me.

Benno shelves are still available, just now they're "DVD shelves".
