More on Apple Dropping the YouTube App from iOS 6

Starting with iOS6, the YouTube app will disappear from Apple devices.  Naturally, plenty of people have been trying to figure out what this all will mean.

Billboard/Evolver posits the following:

1.  Since we won't be able to instantly search for a song on YouTube, this is a big chance for Spotify, Rdio, MOG, Rhapsody and the like to make a move into this space.

2.  Google's upcoming YouTube app (the one that will replace the old one) will be written in HTML5.  It will be far more flexible and powerful.

3.  Will Vimeo step up?
