Bad Leafs-Canucks Bets Result in Big Charity Contribution

It started with producer Garth Richardson (known for his work with Rage Against the Machine and the RHCP) losing his mind.  He bet the guys in 54-40 that the Leafs would make the playoffs.  Dude:  What were you thinking?

When the Leafs failed to come through--again--he had to to donate any fees he'd receive from producing the next 54-40 record to charity.  But unwilling to go down alone, he bet that 54-40's Canucks would not win the Stanley Cup.  And we all know what happened there.

Bottom line is that Music Heals will get donations from both Richardson and 54-40.  Fans who want to donate to the cause are welcome to get involved, too.
