The Alphabetical Archive for 02 August 2012:  Sandbox

Before there was a Trailer Park Boys character named Bubbles, Mike Smith was a guitarist in a Juno-nominated band from Halifax (okay, it was New Glasgow, originally) called Sandbox.  And for added good measure, the drummer was the nephew of Anne Murray.

This was the big single from their 1996 album, Bionic.

I'm sorting through section T right now.  Come back tomorrow to see what I dug out.

Haha I got into this band in a big way thanks to Curious late nights on 102.1. Highly infectious. Murder in the Glee Club wasn't bad either.

My brother bought Bionic a few years ago from Refried Beats. The clerk laughed because his manager had just bet him they'd never sell another copy.
