The 10 Most Anticipated Albums of 2013--So Far

Loudwire reckons that these fit the bill. I've put them in alphabetical order.

  1. Alice in Chains
  2. Black Sabbath
  3. Device
  4. Judas Priest
  5. Motley Crue
  6. Nine Inch Nails
  7. Pearl Jam
  8. Queens of the Stone Age
  9. Tool
  10. Rob Zombie

It's an...okay list.  I'm on board for NIN, Pearl Jam, Queens and especially Tool.  But I'd also throw in the Stone Roses (they're rumoured to be ready to record something), U2 (the mythical Songs of Ascent), Radiohead (I wouldn't put it past them) and perhaps a new record from Blur.

Anything else that's on your future radar?

Could you get a list from some place a little more discerning? Because this is shit.

Pet Shop Boys have a new dance album coming for next year, to follow up last weeks more autumnal Elysium. It'll be a sure-fire cracker.

I am practically weeping in anticipation for the next Tool release... And they always deliver.

I'm most excited for the new Frightened Rabbit.

Atoms For Peace, Biffy Clyro, Joy Formidable. I think I'm turning European.

when I read "I'm on board for NIN, Pearl Jam, Queens and especially Tool" it blew my mind because that's EXACTLY what I was thinking!
