I had a chance to talk to some people from BlackBerry yesterday about their music store (23 million songs) and their new relationship with a service called Zimbalan.
If you're an indie artist, it can be difficult and confusing getting your music where people can find it. You can do it--individually posting material to iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and all the rest of them--but who has this kind of time?
Artists who want to get their music into the store sign up with Zimbalam and create an account. They get to choose a retail price, their release date and which in territories/services they want their music to reach.
