When an artist is on tour, it's important to promote the gigs ahead of time in all the towns and cities along the route. One of the most cost-effective ways to do that--and a great way for the artist to control their message and image--is to design gig posters.
Simple, right? Not really.
Someone has to design the posters. The need to be printed. And they need to be shipped to the venues on your itinerary. If you're a small-time band, who has time for all that?
So this guy is busking on a street in Berlin, playing Bronski Beat's "Smalltown Boy" when suddenly, Jimmy Sommerville--the guy who wrote the song and sang the original in 1985--stopped walking his dog long enough to join in. Thanks to everyone who submitted this clip!
